by Steve Watts, Mar 08, 2013 4:00pm PSTThe Showdown Effect, the newly released game from Magicka developer Arrowhead, has gotten a demo. You can try it out for yourself just in case $10 is too steep to jump in with both feet.
The Steam page lists the game demo, along with the standard, deluxe, and 4-pack versions. The 2.5D multiplayer game pits "cliched" character types against each other in deathmatch and team modes. It makes its bones on heavy customization of game modes, character and weapon customization.
