Weekend Confirmed 154 - PlayStation 4, Revengeance and Assassin's Creed 4
by Ozzie Mejia, Mar 01, 2013 11:00am PSTWith Jeff Cannata still in Barcelona, Garnett Lee is joined this week by Xav De Matos and Andrea Rene. They bring the PlayStation 4 conversation to its conclusion with some final thoughts on last week's presentation event. That's followed by thoughts on Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Crysis 3, and some early thoughts on this week's Assassin's Creed 4 news. And as always, a new round of Finishing Moves will ring in the weekend.

My original post in all this mess was a simple statement, I'm not playing console version of games because I have no other options, I play them because I prefer them.
I said nothing about ease of use, I said nothing about elitism, I said nothing about anything really, and I didn't shit on anyone. If my tone has changed, it's because you guys keep badgering and belaboring the point. You could have let it be from the start, and I've have had nothing more to say.
Actually, it's not fair to push that on you, because this argument was already going when you joined in, and you've been very reasonable and understanding, considering the point at which you came in.
But you can't call a console "little more than $400 hardware DRM" and then turn around and say "Well hey, to each his own." It doesn't work that way! You might just as well say "Well hey, if you prefer the inferior product, that's your choice." I do not and will never believe consoles to be the inferior product. They're not superior, but there are valid reasons to prefer them that come down to more than just being "good enough."
I'm truly sorry if I come off as aggressive or judgmental. Between my consoles and my use of Apple computers (up until recently), I've had no shortage of history with PC snobs.
