Armored Core: Verdict Day coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 this summer
by Andrew Yoon, Feb 22, 2013 2:45pm PSTYet another Armored Core game from developer From Software is coming to America this summer, Namco Bandai has announced. Armored Core: Verdict Day will be available on PS3 and Xbox 360.
It's not entirely clear what this latest iteration of the game brings to the franchise. Namco Bandai says multiplayer has been "streamlined." Like before, mechs will be highly customizable.
Verdict Day will allow players to form squads of up to twenty members as they try to gain control of territories in the game's persistent multiplayer mode, similar to Armored Core 5's online mode. Operator Mode also returns, allowing players to take a more tactical approach from a top-down perspective.
Intriguingly, Verdict Day will allow players to import their customized mechs from Armored Core 5. It's a great way of starting the game with an advantage--but Namco Bandai points out that there will be hundreds of additional parts to choose from, of course.
Kinect for Xbox One coming to PC
Xbox One does not provide any built-in DVR capabilities
Xbox One increases friends lists to 1,000
Xbox One achievements dynamic, not limited to single games
