PlayStation Home Arcade launching for Vita today
by Steve Watts, Feb 05, 2013 12:30pm PSTOne somewhat overlooked aspect of PlayStation Home is the ability to play various games in its Arcade. Vita owners won't have to stiffly walk through Sony's virtual world to play these games, however. A new standalone app will let you download some of these games, with two being offered for free.
According to the PlayStation.Blog, Icebreaker and WipEout 2D are free.In addition, you can get a free demo of Scribble Shooter as well. Other games available via in-app purchase include Frogger, Time Pilot, Asteroids, Centipede, Astrosmash Gen2, Shark! Shark! Gen2, and Mad Blocker. Each of the games can be purchased for $1.49 apiece.
If you've already bought any of the games inside PlayStation Home, you can get them for free on your Vita, and vice-versa.
