BioShock Infinite: Mind in Revolt prequel e-book coming next month

BioShock Infinite was pushed from February to March 26, but you can still start to get a taste of the story next month. BioShock Infinite: Mind in Revolt is a prequel novel from Irrational writer Joe fielder and creative director Ken Levine, and it will be available on February 12th for $2.99.

The book will be available digitally for Kindle devices, and pre-ordering through Amazon will net you the book for free. All pre-orders also include the "Industrial Revolution" pack, which includes some gear, 500 in-game currency, some lockpicks, and a Facebook puzzle game.

"Since we first announced BioShock Infinite, our fans have asked for more information about Columbia and the complex cast of characters that inhabit the floating city," said Fielder in the announcement. "After reading the e-book, players will have a better understanding of BioShock Infinite's world, the struggle between its factions, and the motivations of key characters, like rebel leader Daisy Fitzroy, without spoiling the mysteries of BioShock Infinite."
