Grand Theft Auto 5 PC listed on retail sites
by Steve Watts, Jan 21, 2013 8:00am PSTGrand Theft Auto 5 has only been confirmed for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, a fact that has caused some degree of consternation among PC fans. Though Rockstar still hasn't made anything official, European retailers may have tipped their hand.
Both the UK and French arms of Amazon (via CVG) are now listing the game for the PC. The French site actually has a price listed and pre-orders running, while the UK one only has availability notifications.
Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser has previously said that other versions, aside from PS3 and 360, are "up for consideration" if they can be assured of an "appropriate business opportunity and chance to find a market." PC fans started a petition in hopes of showing Rockstar that the game has interest on the platform, which has so far reached approximately 145,000 signatures -- 5,000 short of its goal.
