Each character has their own ATB gauge for you to monitor, and once they're ready, you simply tap the character to command it to attack. Given the party size, you'll be juggling quite a bit, creating combos by tapping multiple characters in quick succession.
Of particular note for Final Fantasy fans will be the game's soundtrack, which includes over 30 songs from the series, mostly comprised of battle themes. As the App Store describes it, it is "the perfect soundtrack to listen to as your crush your enemies and see them driven before you!"

At Square Enix HQ:
Suit 1: "So what should we do for our next iOS game?"
Suit 2: "I don't really know... maybe another port or remake? People seem to love those."
Suit 1: "Yes that sounds good, but what game should we do? We've already used up most of IP..."
Suit 3: [hurr] "HOW ABOUT FINAL FANTASY BUT WE USE A SIMPLIFIED AND COMPLETELY GIMPED FIGHTING SYSTEM?" [durr]
Suit 1&2: [in unison] "Brilliant!"
But maybe it will be good? -

holy shit the in app pricing
All The Bravest features 20 progress-unlockable characters, all based on series jobs like Thief, Blue Mage, and Knight. There are a further 35 'Premium' series characters such as Cloud from FF7 available via in-app purchases, priced $0.99 each. In a cheeky move, each purchase provides you with a new character at random, meaning it might take more than a few goes if you're after a specific one. You can also purchase additional stages based on areas from Final Fantasy 7, 10, and 13, available as 'World Tickets' for $3.99. -

I don't really get it. You just randomly swipe, collect shit and pay out the ass?-
You can't be defeated, but the only way to progress after all your characters are knocked out is to either wait for the bar to refill so you can restore your party, or pay for Golden Hourglasses to do the same. So... even basic progress in the game is hampered by for-pay-gimmicks.
20 Golden Hourglasses for $3 a $6.67 value!

okay this it the last straw for me considering the SE, they just went and made this shitofafinalfantasy that should've been left out of the market and posted as a f2p game but no, this just gives the FF series horrible image and the way seems to be worsening, hope they fix this and go back to oldschool ways
