Ong Bak Tri shows off its moves with first trailer
by Steve Watts, Dec 07, 2012 4:00pm PSTThe Ong Bak Thai action films have earned a devoted fan following, prompting Studio Hive and Immanitas Entertainment to pay homage in video game form. We've gotten our first look at Ong Bak Tri in motion with a new trailer.
The 2D action game is said to focus on fighting, free-running, and cinematic quick-time action sequences, and we see each of them on display here. The game stars Tony Jaa in the lead role, and boasts input from the movie's director (Thossaporn Poonnart) and fight choreographer (Panna Rittikrai). It's slated for PC, consoles, and smartphones this winter.
