The Adult Swim show Robot Chicken does much the same thing, only with action figures. So it makes a certain kind of sense that the two crossovers would themselves cross over, resulting in last night's very niche advert.
The full short aired on the show, but the PlayStation Blog dropped word of it with a short clip to give an idea of the spot's flavor. Check it out below.
