Wii U network features get extended look
by Steve Watts, Nov 14, 2012 7:30am PSTThe Wii U launch is mere days away now, and with it come some bold steps into the modern era from a historically reluctant company. The system adds more robust networking features than consoles past, but Nintendo is marching to its own beat. A new video takes an extended look at the features.
The video features Nintendo's Bill Trinen, interspersed with clips from the Japanese video hosted by company president Satoru Iwata. It takes a more detailed look at the Nintendo Network, Miiverse, and Internet browser, among other online features. It's all a bit on the simplistic side for power users, but if you're curious to learn more or just want an easy way to explain to your less tech-savvy friends and family, it's worth a watch.
The Wii U launches this Sunday.
