PixelJunk 1-6 debuting on PC in 2013
by Alice O'Connor, Nov 02, 2012 6:45am PDTQ-Games' delightful PixelJunk series began life on PlayStation 3 and has only recently tentatively dipped its toe in the PC pool, but the next game is unexpectedly debuting on PC and may not see release elsewhere at all. PixelJunk 1-6, as it's codenamed, is largely under wraps for now, but will feature co-op and "probably like a gajillion" robots.
"PixelJunk 1-6 started as a hobby project by a few of us over a year ago. Working on our weekends and holidays, we couldn't help but expand on this fun idea," Q explains in a post on the a blog it's opened in the interest of having a less-closed development process.
An FAQ explains that Q plans to release it through Steam, then "might consider" a console edition "if we get enough demand." The game's due in 2013.
But what is PixelJunk 1-6? Don't know. No idea. See what you can deduce from this shot.
