Hitman: Absolution trailer is morally ambiguous
by Steve Watts, Oct 26, 2012 9:15am PDTThe Hitman games tend to rack up a high body count, with the conceit that it's justified for some greater good. But when you get right down to it, you are straight-up murdering dozens of people, sometimes just to save one life. The newest trailer for Hitman: Absolution asks if that's justifiable.
The answer, apparently, is yes. The trailer doesn't actually linger on that question very long, but rather uses it as a diving board for showing just how efficient Agent 47 is at killing. Because hey, if you're going to lay waste to a small village worth of people, you should at least do it with some style.
