God of War: Ascension multiplayer beta access granted via social game
by John Keefer, Oct 23, 2012 10:00am PDTSony has been slowly releasing details on the God of War: Ascension multiplayer beta coming to PlayStation Plus this winter. If you aren't already a Plus subscriber, there's another way in: playing the Rise of the Warrior social game.
The "social experience" has you connecting a Facebook or Twitter account to join a team. The winning team will get early access to the beta. Other rewards for participating include an in-game weapon and armor set, and quicker unlocks to other weapons and armor when the game is finally released on March 12.
Teasing the multiplayer mode even further, Sony has released a brand new trailer showing what powers you'll be bestowed when aligning with Zeus, king of the gods. He's but one of four gods you can align with for the MP mode.
