The critically acclaimed 2D stealth-action game Mark of the Ninja has made the jump to PCs today. The game is now available on Steam, with newly available custom keyboard and mouse controls alongside the standard gamepad support.

The game is available for $14.99, the same price for the Xbox 360 version. Mark of the Ninja received high marks for its multi-fasceted combat and stealth options, hand-painted 2D art style, and a surprisingly impressive story. It's Klei's most highly-regarded game by a long shot, so give it a spin on the new platform if you missed the first go-round.

Loved Shank and I have yet to get Shank 2... So, this one looks just as promising. With my current backlog I'll grab it @ Xmas sale on Steam.

While using the same engine as Shank, it is very much /not/ Shank. It is quite the Stealth game. Fans of Thief should like it, as it was one of the inspiring games (being a popular stealth game), along with the Shinobi series, which is perhaps a bit more obvious being mostly 2D and ninja based.

I cannot recommend this game enough. Saw it plenty during PAX Prime, played it momentarily. Probably anyone who enjoys stealth games where stealth is the primary gameplay, will absolutely love it. There's even options in New Game Plus to make it so your awareness is limited to only line of sight, rather than the default radius (which is sort of simulating hearing and other senses).

Sorry if I sound too boastful, I'm just excited to play it, and slightly drunk after multiple debates, tonight.

Naw, you're good. Never played Thief, but recently bought it on Steam (the whole collection) for $6.24. Yeah, I realize it's a stealth game, but I really enjoy the art style of these guys and the gameplay does look pretty satisfying. I heard it didn't do worth a damn on the Xbox 360. Hopefully tops sales on the PC so people can see there's still promise left in the PC gaming world... I haven't gave up on her.
