MechWarrior Online open beta begins October 16
by John Keefer, Oct 10, 2012 11:00am PDTIf you haven't been one of the lucky ones honing their mech skills in preparation for the launch of MechWarrior Online later this year, then you'll want to jump into the open beta when it kicks off October 16.
The game has been in closed beta since late May. You can grab your pilot name and register for the beat at the official site.
If you haven't gotten into the Founder's Program, you better hurry, because publisher Infinite Games plans to close entry at midnight on October 14. The Legendary package for a cool $120, comes withe all four Founder's BattleMechs, and other perks. The Elite package--and your choice of one Founder's mech--can be had for $60, while the Veterans package is available for $30.
