by Steve Watts, Sep 21, 2012 7:40am PDTJust in case you're still on the fence about Medal of Honor: Warfighter, you can try the multiplayer yourself with an open beta coming to Xbox 360 in early October. You'll be able to choose from 12 different factions of Tier 1 units, like the British SAS, German KSK, Russian Spetsnaz Alfa, Korean UDT, and US Navy SEALs.
It will also be a chance to try out the new HotSpot mode, in which players attack and defend randomly-selected locations on the map. The map included in the beta is a Sarajevo Stadium in Bosnia. Players who download the beta will get 60 minutes of double XP when the full game launches. If three million users grab it, a new Linkin Park music video will be unlocked early. Hooray?
