Crysis 3 'Hunter' multiplayer mode revealed
by John Keefer, Aug 14, 2012 8:15am PDTCrysis 3 is getting a "Hunter" multiplayer mode that will support 16 players, and it was demoed at Gamescom 2012 during Electronic Arts press conference when two hunters took on seven CELL troopers in a timed match.
The premise had a CELL ship that was shot down and the troopers had to fight for survival against the hunters in their superior nanosuits. The kicker is that when a CELL trooper was killed, the player respawns as a cloaked hunter, giving the out-manned hunters an advantage as time winds down during the match.
Crysis 3 is coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in February 2013.
