F1 2012 will pose this problem, but probably not blow up a bus, in the newly-revealed 'Champions Mode,' which offers special scenarios.
Racers will face up against six F1 champions--Kimi Räikkönen, Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher--in turn, unlocking the next once you've beaten them. Each has their own unique challenge, with the aforementioned shiny new tires excitement being Kimi Räikkönen's.
F1 2012 is coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in September. Look, here's a trailer which does a poor job of showing what Champions Mode is like but does have sounds and colours:
