Skyrim Dawnguard DLC PC/PS3 info coming 'soon'
by Steve Watts, Jul 30, 2012 2:30pm PDTMicrosoft's 30-day exclusivity window for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim downloadable content recently passed in the case of Dawnguard. That's left PC and PlayStation 3 fans wondering when they'll hear about the meaty content, and the developer is promising more information will come soon.
Bethesda VP of marketing and PR tweeted to a fan (via CVG), "Just sit tight. We'll have info soon." But that was in reply to a fan who thought the DLC for other platforms was outright canceled, due to an earlier tweet that stated, "We have not announced Dawnguard for any other platform, nor given a timeline for any such news."
What Hines apparently meant was that expecting news on the day the Microsoft deal expired was unrealistic, but some fans were worried that it meant Dawnguard wasn't coming to other platforms at all. Promising more information soon should help quash those fears, and it's possible the company could outline those plans this weekend at QuakeCon.
