Firefall shows off Engineer, Medic updates
by Steve Watts, Jul 20, 2012 1:30pm PDTFirefall is getting its big summer update soon, and it's packing some large changes to classes. Red 5 Studios teased two of the largest changes, to the Engineer and Medic classes. For one thing, the Medic won't be called a Medic anymore, but rather a "Biotech."
Two trailers (via PC Gamer) show off the classes. The Biotech class gives him a better escape route by using noxious fumes, and his instant revive will require a closer approach than before. The Engineer, meanwhile, can use a lightning canon that stacks damage based on time targeting the enemy, and he can use multiple mini-turrets and shields.
