The Expendables 2 Video Game coming to XBLA, PSN, and PC
by Andrew Yoon, Jun 28, 2012 11:30am PDTSure, there are tons of downloadable co-op arcade shooters on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. But how many of them let you play as Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, and Jet Li? The answer is none. Thankfully, Ubisoft is rectifying this horrific omission.
Coming this summer is The Expendables 2 Video Game--the out-of-nowhere interactive tie-in with the upcoming movie. It will be available on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC.
The game takes place right before the events of the new movie, "creating a continuous experience for fans of the Expendables hard-boiled brand of action," according to the press release. Four players, each assuming one of the action movie icons, can cooperate locally and online on a quest to save a kidnapped billionaire.
