More Mass Effect 3 multiplayer DLC leaked
by Steve Watts, May 16, 2012 10:30am PDTMass Effect 3 has been a bit of a leaky ship when it comes to multiplayer DLC. The Resurgence Pack was discovered weeks before its launch, and now another leak has appeared to spill the beans. The "Rebellion Pack" two maps, a few new classes, and some more equipment.
Kotaku reports that a now-pulled PlayStation Asia page (cached) details the pack. It includes Firebase Jade in the jungle and Firebase Goddess on Thessia. Six new classes include a Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, and Phoenix Adept and Vanguard. Plus, it brings three more weapons, with some equipment and consumables.
The page curiously lists the release date as today, but seeing as the page has been pulled that can probably be chalked up as a mistake.
The Resurgence Pack was given away for free. We'll have to see if the Rebellion is BioWare's first stab at charging for a pack, or if the studio will continue relying on the purchasable random item packs for DLC revenue.
