The Hitman will give you absolution on Nov. 20
by John Keefer, May 10, 2012 8:30am PDTThe Hitman codenamed 47 has been promising absolution for almost a year. Now, we finally get a release date and confirmation of report a few days ago of a special bonus mission playable as soon as you finish clicking to pre-order the game.
Hitman: Absolution will be arriving on Nov. 20, according to developer Square Enix's Barcode Society blog. It also offers more details on the standalone Hitman: Sniper Challenge, which puts you as 47 on a rooftop with your Agency Kazo TRG sniper rifle. Depending on how well you do in carrying out your assassination of businessman Richard Strong Jr., you can unlock equipment perks that will carry over into the game.
The pre-orders will begin May 15 at a variety of retailers. Oh, and developer IO Interactive was nice enough to include the trailer below as added incentive.
