The second mission pack for Saints Row: The Third is hitting today. The "Gangstas in Space" pack sees the heroes guiding up-and-coming actress Jenny Jaros through her Hollywood journey during the filming of the space-gangster epic.

As part of the pack, you'll get the Aegian alien ship, alien gang customization options, and two new homies: Kwilanna (played by Jaros) and Space Brutina. The pack should be rolling out to all systems later today, and to Europe and Asian regions tomorrow morning.

Gangstas in Space is the second pack included with the DLC Season Pass, after Genkibowl VII. One more mission pack is planned after this one, but if you'd rather buy them piece-meal, they cost $6.99 (560 MSP) each.

I got SR3 and the DLC season pass from THQ UK store a few months back, for 20 dollars. I feel it may have been the best deal ever.

If the second and third major DLC aren't better than the first, I'll be rather annoyed.

I found the ganstas in space mission in the main game to be really boring. Really crappy way to end the game.

Hopefully this is more fun. I may grab it if it goes on sale one day.

I agree. That mission was crap. Still, I loved SR3 and even went out of my way to get 1000 gamer points (oh god some of those challenges were boring.. and fuck Microsoft for not showing it as a completed game just because I haven't bought any of the DLC).

I thought it was great. I was laughing at it the whole time.

It was funny, but I thought it was too slow as an ending after so much balls out violence. It was the weakest part, but still better than 90% of other games.

I think that is why I liked it so much. It was just the saints kicking back, having fun, and completing the movie for Johnny.

I'm with you. I didn't find it to be nearly as fun or satisfying as the other ending (which I'm guessing will be the canonical ending for the next game).

I thought it was funny at first but it was far too long and ->> Uncharted 2 spoiler <--.. the final battle reminded me of the end of Uncharted 2 which left a very sour taste as I thought the final battle in that was bullshit after how amazing the rest of the game was

TBH i had more fun just getting a 5 star cop rating and blowing random stuff up than I did that last mission.

That looks as uninteresting as the Genki bowl stuff. I'd like to see more gang warfare, bank robbery, car chase missions, not outlandish stuff like zombies, furries, and this space movie stuff.

It looks like there might be more actual substance at least?

And you could be right. I like the gameplay feel of SR3, but prefer the setting of GTA4.

Crazy game gets crazier. In other news, why would anyone use any voice other than the hilariously awesome cockney one?

I just played it through and it was AMAZING compared to Genkibowl. It had an actual story, rather than just blowing up stuff. Although I did it in about 2 hours, it was still worth it. Come to think of it, 2 hours is the length of your average movie, so that almost kinda fits.
