LittleBigPlanet 2 gets Muppets expansion pack

The Muppets are next to join the elite rank of official LittleBigPlanet expansion pack adaptee, following the revered footsteps of Metal Gear Solid and Pirates of the Caribbean.

The "Muppets Premium Level Kit" for LittleBigPlanet 2 will be available this week on the PlayStation Store for $5.99, and it will add new levels, music, materials, backgrounds, sound effects, objects, decorations, stickers, and costumes to the game. The expansion pack also adds new gadgets that allow Sackboy to walk on walls.

To prove that the Muppets add-on is a substantial expansion to the LBP universe, it even comes with its own Trophies. The DLC will have players going through five new levels, trying to help the Muppet cast "put on the show of a lifetime." The new tools--Attract-O-Gel and Attract-O-Tweak--will not only let players perform all-new platforming feats, it will let level creators create brand new challenges for the UGC community.
