Xenoblade Chronicles coming to Wii in April
by Andrew Yoon, Dec 02, 2011 11:30am PSTFans have been clamoring for the release of a number of high-profile RPGs for Wii. Xenoblade Chronicles, a classically-styled JRPG developed by Monolith Soft, has been the most sought-out of the games. While Nintendo of Europe localized the game for release, NOA was hesitant, initially saying there were "no plans" to bring the game stateside.
Since then, NOA president Reggie Fils-Aime promised continued support for the Wii library in 2012, and what better way to make good on that statement than announcing the release of Xenoblade Chronicles in the US?
"It's confirmed!," Nintendo announced via its Facebook page. "Next year, Wii players throughout North America can wield the Monado blade and join the epic battle between the Homs and the Mechons in Xenoblade Chronicles."
According to Nintendo, the game will be making its way Stateside in April. It will be available to purchase from GameStop, or directly from Nintendo.
