Assassin's Creed 3 setting theorized
by Jeff Mattas, Nov 16, 2011 1:40pm PSTAssassin's Creed Revelations has only been out in the wild for a day, but there's already some interesting speculation about where the series' next game will be set. Prior to the game's release, Ubisoft had already revealed that Revelations would conclude the tales of historical assassins Ezio and Altair, but the series' modern-day protagonist, Desmond, would be featured in one more title.
According to CVG (via PSM3 Magazine), "at least part of [Assassin's Creed 3]" could take place in ancient Egypt. The "evidence" is a bit thin, but plausible; however, outlining why could spoil the story in Revelations. For those unafraid of spoilers, full details are available online.
Of course, anything is possible, and any "evidence" should be taken with a grain of salt. What are some of the exotic historical locations full of political intrigue that you'd like to stab the inhabitants of?
