King of Fighters XIII DLC plans detailed
by Alice O'Connor, Nov 16, 2011 6:00am PSTWith The King of Fighters due to launch next week, publisher Atlus has revealed a little of its downloadable content plans for the latest in the long-running fighter series.
The DLC releases will kick off "shortly" after KoF XIII launches for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 22. The most interesting revealed so far is "fan favorite" character 'Iori with the Power of Flames' from KoF '98, who'll arrive on December 7, priced at $5 (400 Microsoft Points).
There will also be DLC to instantly unlock locked content, two system themes available at launch, and another theme arriving later. Atlus promises prices and dates for it all later.
Pre-ordering The King of Fighters XIII from certain retailers will net you a 4-CD compilation of music from across the series' 17 years.
