Assassin's Creed Revelations PC dated November 29; DLC coming in December
by Steve Watts, Nov 15, 2011 11:15am PSTAssassin's Creed Revelations is available in stores starting today, and Ubisoft has already announced downloadable content coming next month. The "Ancestors Character Pack" will hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on December 13, bringing four new multiplayer characters for $3.99 (320 Microsoft Points).
The pack includes the Privateer, Corsair, Brigand, and Gladiator. Each one comes with its own set of taunts, weapons, and assassination moves. The pack is available for pre-order on both platforms today as well, just in case you have four bucks and a deep, abiding love for Assassin's Creed multiplayer.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood's various "Animus Project Update" DLC updates were free, but those were new maps and modes rather than characters. Given Revelations' emphasis on its characters, Ubisoft might still offer free maps as well.
The press release also mentions that the PC version of the game will be released on November 29, slightly earlier than the December target we had last heard.
