Zelda 3DS Special Edition system coming to America for Black Friday
by Steve Watts, Nov 14, 2011 7:00am PSTA limited edition 3DS system with imagery from The Legend of Zelda emblazoned on it may be coming to North America, after all. The special bundle, which includes a copy of Ocarina of Time 3D, was previously only announced for the Europe, but a Black Friday ad appears to out the system for the states.
A leaked GameStop circular (via IGN) for Black Friday shows the special 3DS sitting pretty at the bottom, alongside a red 3DS bundle that includes Super Mario 3D Land. Both bundles are listed at $199.99.
The European announcement listed the bundle for November 25, which seemed suspiciously close to Thanksgiving. This wouldn't be the first time Nintendo has waited until the last moment to announce special handheld bundles -- in fact, it's practically a yearly tradition. The official announcement hasn't come from Nintendo of America yet, so when they spill it, try to look surprised. We've contacted Nintendo for confirmation.
