We imagine the footage of one of the worst Metal Gear Solid players in the history of mankind didn't make the just released HD Collection look too hot. I'll be getting this for sure. MGS is one of my favorite franchises.

How do you create an MGS HD collection without including MGS 1?

        Sadface.

You provide the Twin Snakes version, since that is the only updated one to fit well with this collection.

But Nintendo holds IP involved with Twin Snakes so it is questionable if it can ever happen on a non-Nintendo platform.

Besides, you guys don't like Twin Snakes for the most part anyway.

I don't know why I'm not excited about this, and for the longest time I have been an MGS fan.
It probably doesn't help that I already own all of those games.

Man I've really gotten to hate the music of the MGS series over the years. That plagiarized Harry Gregson Williams theme is so freaking repetitive and too like saccharine. And the vocal songs are just terrible and so random.

I'm pretty sure it's not plagarism if Harry Gregson-Williams wrote it for the game. Or did you mean something else?

He stole it from himself. Only in a Kojima game. :[

A bar from the main theme introduced in MGS2 sounds somewhat similar to a composition from Sviridov. It doesn't sound very like it however, I tend to doubt he had ever heard the composition before composing the MGS2 theme either because it is a very obscure Russian piece. But the allegation scared Konami enough to drop it for MGS4 and further use.

Thank god. I forgot the music in MGS4 was actually really good.
