Sideway: New York for PS3 gets trailer, turns heads
by Steve Watts, Jul 22, 2011 3:45pm PDTThe intriguing PS3-exclusive indie platformer Sideway has been featured again on the PlayStation Blog, this time showing off the first trailer of the game in action. The game in motion explains the concept much more clearly than static screenshots. Plus it's gotten a subtitle, now dubbed Sideway: New York. Maybe this implies hope for a franchise, so you could have several Sideways.
You can see the 2D hero bending around the walls of 3D buildings, making for some interesting gravity and spacial puzzles. In addition, the game will support drop-in, drop-out co-op play. A rep expects the game to hit at $9.99, but didn't make any firm pricing promises.
If you happen to be attending the San Diego Comic Con this weekend, you can stop by the Sony Online Entertainment booth to try the game for yourself. And if you are attending, you're probably reading this while standing in line for something, so best of luck with that.
