PlayStation Store offers El Shaddai demo, DLC sales

E3 hasn't stopped the march of the PlayStation Store update, and now that it's back, the marketplace is getting pretty hefty loads of content.

New demos include El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron and Dungeon Siege 3. New game downloads featured this week include New Adventure Island and Soldier Blade for $5.99 each, and the fourth episode of Back to the Future.

In honor of E3, the Store is offering a free Vita wallpaper, several game trailers, and discounts on downloadable content for Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood, Warhawk, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

PlayStation Plus members (which, thanks to the PSN outage, means "almost everyone" for the time being) get their own set of content and discounts. You can grab the Prestige Vehicle Pack for MotorStorm Apocalypse for a discount, and get Magic: The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers and the Lilo & Stitch PS1 game for free. The Store also offers 50% discounts on Shank, Tumble, DeathSpank, Thongs of Virtue, and Dead Space Ignition. Plus, you can get Flamingo Fun theme or an Infamous 2 theme for free.

Notable add-on content this week includes the Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition add-on for $14.99, and the Mortal Kombat Klassic skins pack for $4.99.
