Gears of War 3 gets Xbox 360 console bundle
by Alice O'Connor, Jun 07, 2011 12:04pm PDTAt E3, Microsoft has announced a $399 console bundle with Gears of War 3 and a fancy 320GB custom Xbox 360 inspired by Epic's shoot-o-rama, for Gears fans who cannot contain their love of Dom and chums.
The limited edition bundle has a 320GB Xbox 360 with a red and black Gears of War logo design and special Gears sounds for the power and eject buttons, along with two matching wireless controllers, a wired headset, and a copy of Gears of War 3's standard edition--not the Limited or Epic edition.
However, you will get a download token for free downloadable content including the Infected Omen Weapon Pack, which is included with the Epic Edition, and the playable Adam Fenix multiplayer skin included with both fancy editions.
The bundle will be available alongside Gears of War 3 when it launches on September 20. The Gears of War 3 controllers will also be sold separately for $59.99.
