Witcher 2 trailers show 'Environments' and 'Living World'
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings gets two new gameplay trailers: 'Environments' and 'Living World.'
With CD Projekt's next dose of RPG goodness just over a week from release, we figured that there are probably more than a few folks who'd be interested in ogling a pair of pretty gameplay trailers for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.
The first gameplay trailer is called 'Environments,' and shows off some beautiful forests and architecture, and touches a bit on day/night cycles and weather.
The second trailer, called 'Living World,' chronicles an average day in in Port Flotsam, one of the game's many fully realized communities.
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings comes out for PC on May 17. Remember, you can still get your DRM-free pre-order on at Good Old Games (GOG.com).

Looks like a game being done quite right, so far. IMHO all very pretty, but nothing never seen before.
Besides, if I like - or even love - a game, doesn't depend on its prettiness alone.
If it manages to suck me in storywise and the gameplay works and feels right... that weighs a lot heavier than graphics.
But I'm quite optimistic for this one... loved The Witcher 1 after a few hours of getting into it.

It just makes me sad that when I mention this incredible-looking sequel, a lot of (so-called) gamers-- even PC gamers-- have *no idea* what I'm talking about.
I'd normally be satisfied with my high horse, but I really want CDProjekt to get a fat stack for all their hard work too. These guys and gals treat me how I want to be treated as a gamer and customer, and the world should take notice imo.-
I was one of those PC gamers who always overlooked the original until I finally picked it up a great Steam sale. I must say that I regret waiting as long as I did to play it because it was a great game. CDProjekt deserves everything good they have coming to them for treating PC gamers the way they do.
