Dungeon Fighter Online coming to XBLA
by Steve Watts, Mar 25, 2011 8:30am PDTThe action online RPG Dungeon Fighter Online is coming to Xbox Live Arcade this year, publisher Nexon has announced. The game is free-to-play on the PC, but Nexon told Joystiq that "nothing has been determined yet" regarding the XBLA pricing model.
The port is being developed by Nexon and Softmax, with the original developer Neople directing the project. Microsoft Game Studios will be publishing the game. It will be an an international release, with plans to localize the game in English, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, German, Italian, and French.
"This agreement is a significant step forward for Nexon," said Nexon CEO Min Suh in the announcement. "For some time we have been seeking opportunities to expand beyond online PC gaming and move into new platforms like Xbox Live Arcade. With the help of Microsoft Game Studios' deep development and localization experience, we anticipate that Dungeon Fighter Online will bring enjoyment to entirely new audiences on Xbox Live Arcade."
