Dragon Age Legends launches on Facebook
Dragon Age Legends, the Facebook game built to tie in with Dragon Age 2, officially launched today. You can earn bonus loot for your Hawke to boot.
After spending quite a while in beta, Dragon Age Legends officially launched today on Facebook. The free-to-play RPG is available directly from the site you use to see pictures of your drunk friends, and unlocks bonus content in Dragon Age 2. Unfortunately, this means your drunk friends will know you're a nerd.
Of course, like any Facebook game, it encourages you to invite your friends into your party. On the other hand, it actually functions as a fairly competent old-school RPG, which is more than we can say for most Facebook click-fests. Give it a shot and let us know what you think in the comments.

I've actually been enjoying it a lot. The combat has some nice strategy to it, and the asset management is pretty cool as well (health & mana regen tied to workers in your castle). I'd like to see more loot available for purchase with other than real world dollars, but other than that it's pretty sweet!

they use it as a way to recruit your friends for less waiting and to sell optional currency for the game. if you let your dudes die during battle youre in for a long wait. all said and done it is a free to play facebook game that does use real money if you want to take shortcuts. can you blame them though? i would rather them make these types of games with interesting EA properties than just more farmville clones (which i have never played but i bet the structure of the game is somewhat similar besides the combat)
