Nintendo 3DS Invades Europe on March 25 [Update]
by Xav de Matos, Jan 19, 2011 7:10am PSTEarlier today, North American gamers learned the Nintendo 3DS would arrive in its region on March 27 for $249.99. Moments ago at a press event in Amsterdam, Nintendo of Europe announced release plans across the pond.
Nintendo 3DS will arrive in PAL territories on March 25. Pricing will be based on retail partners throughout Europe. Retailers have yet to reveal prices. It appears that the Nintendo 3DS will also ship in Aqua Blue and Cosmo Black in Europe, much like North America.
Update: HMV UK has added a listing for the Nintendo 3DS on its site, pricing the unit at £229.99. The system is available in either blue or black.
For details on what the system will include, check out our original post from the New York event. Make sure to check back on Shacknews for impressions on the games at the North American event.

I think $250 is a decent price point.. any higher than that would be too much. I'm buying one.. I know that for sure. I'll put my pre-order in as soon as possible. I can't wait to get my hands on this thing.
