by Xav de Matos, Dec 11, 2010 6:55pm PSTSoon after a second, thrilling list of possible video game-based adult films during the 2010 Spike VGAs--seriously, this is painful--the highly rumored return of SSX was made official.
SSX: Deadly Descents will give players the ability to snowboard down snow-capped mountains around the world, while battling the harsh elements. Platforms were not revealed; however, we're hoping this will bring SSX to the Xbox 360 and PS3. SSX was last seen on the Wii in 2007.

Between Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, NFS Shift and Hot Pursuit, hell even Army of Two, most of their new IPs and IP reboots have been pretty damn good this generation.
So I'll wait for actual gameplay to see if the spirit of the original SSX games has been completely lost.
