Metro 2033 66% Off as THQ's Week-Long Steam Sale Keeps On Rolling

Today's THQ/Steam sale features the 4A Games-developed survival horror shooter Metro 2033. Based on the novel of the same name by Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro 2033 throws players into a post-apocalyptic Moscow where survival contending with terrifying beasts in order to scavenge for the most basic of supplies.

One of my personal favorites of 2010, you can pick up the PC version on Steam today (until tomorrow at 10am PDT) for 66% off as part of a week-long sale on select THQ software.

Metro 2033 - $13.60 (down 66% from $39.99)

The THQ/Steam promotion ends on November 1.

I've been waiting for this sale for a while now, I don't think i've ever gone from seeing a sale to hitting purchase as fast as I did with this game today. was a definite insta-buy.

Sure, Mighty Ape often skimp on the postage packaging quality UNLESS you leave instructions to wrap it well (like I did for Mafia 2 CE), but they deliver from NZ within about a week and it beats these stupid nice-beach-tax prices. Patience is a virtue.

Buy it! It's a fun little adventure. It's short and sweet, like Amnesia, except you shoot stuff and the textures are really good and the framerates can be bad.

Bought this game a few weeks ago. Best fucking game I have played in a very very long time!
I highly recommend it. And it's finally a game that actually feels like a "PC" game :D

game is great, but I got stuck in one place and can't bloody finish it.

It's where heaps of dog looking things runs around you and you with other dude have to get into safety.

The game is awesome and is a great buy at this price. For those of your wondering about performance it runs and looks great on older pc's medium settings. I played through it on medium details my first time with a 8800gts and a e8400 on XP and it ran really well.
