What is described as the "first gameplay trailer" for Dragon Age 2 has arrived, though you already know the score--it's a montage of action-packed snippets and cutscenes from BioWare's fantasy RPG, focusing solely on the male choice in protagonist.

Dragon Age 2 is slated to arrive for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 8, 2011. Pre-order before January 11 and you'll receive the BioWare Signature Edition for no additional cost, which packs an estimated $20 worth of bonus downloadable content.

    No, I'm pretty sure this game will be very similar to the first. I think BioWare just felt the single, speaking protagonist ala. Mass Effect is more compelling. So they are making that a feature here. In my opinion, it's not. Having your character be silent in Dragon Age 1 really made the other characters stand out, and they became far more interesting than any of Mass Effect's characters.
