Fable 3 Delayed on PC
by Alice O'Connor, Aug 03, 2010 8:00am PDTThe PC edition of Lionhead's RPG sequel Fable 3 will no longer launch alongside the Xbox 360 version as it's been delayed for an unspecified length of time, IGN reports.
"The console and PC versions are now on different schedules as we're focusing on building experiences optimized for each platform," publisher Microsoft explained. "We aren't announcing a ship date for the PC sku at this time, but expect news soon."
When confirmed in late May, the PC edition of Fable 3 was scheduled to release simultaneously with the Xbox 360 version on October 26. While the Xbox 360 launch is still going ahead as planned, PC gamers are left hanging for now.

In other news, I was happy to hear that it is projected that it is expected that the PS3 will overtake the XBox360 in total worldwide sales next year. Yes, it'll be fun to watch Microsoft try to spin that.
