Skate 3 'Hawaiian Dream' DLC Saying Aloha Tomorrow

By Alice O'Connor, Jul 05, 2010 8:00am PDT A new batch of Skate 3 downloadable content is due to roll out on Tuesday, letting skaters grind around an "enormous skater's paradise" designed by "skating legend" Danny Way.

The 'Danny Way's Hawaiian Dream' downloadable content offers "everything from original street terrain to flowing skate parks and of course Danny's signature Mega-madness" plus "new challenges, create-a-skater gear, an all-new Danny Way playable character, and new achievements and trophies."

You too can share in Danny Way's Hawaiian Dream from July 6, if you own an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 and have a spare $6.99 (560 Microsoft Points) lying around.

No question. 'Skate' gives you the incredible sense of achievement at the most basic levels. The beauty of the game is how small things offer huge rewards. An olly with a grab or a front-side manual actually requires concentration in Skate, as opposed to it being a simple button press in Tony Hawk.

Skate 3 is the best of the bunch as everything comes together perfectly in this one. It's just a shame EA has it's paws on the franchise because the game does not need an annual release or DLC.
