Apparently much of the USA has today off work? I'm not sure why and nobody will explain it to me so I imagine it's National Cheesecake Day or similar and they don't want me feeling left out. Enjoy your cheesecake, les Etats-Unis. Everyone else, back to work.

This weekend, I picked up Borderlands and discovered it's a poor PC port of a decent enough game that I imagine will open up when I can rope other people into playing with me. I've also been making video game, which turns out to involve listening to fart noises.

Most of the Shackstaff is off eating cheesecake today so we'll be running a little quiet.

  Honestly, I don't care about that at all. Stella Artois isn't as bad as some people say it is, though it's definitely worse than most believe.

    I blame it on the name, the name sounds fancy thus the beer is by default.

      depends if you call it by its proper name or its more commonly used name of "Wife Beater". which is significantly less fancy.

      It actually is a normal beer around here, though they are trying to market it as a premium beer abroad.

        It's hard to find in London :-( I've only found three or fours pubs which carry it. The Dog and Duck in Soho often has it.
