Modern Warfare 2 'Resurgence Pack' DLC Map Pack Priced, Detailed

Sorry but paying 90$ for a game is bullshit. Go f yourself Activision.

Name a few FPS games that are coming out that have DLC that you have to pay for, for the PC. I would love to know of any other games in the past 5 years that have charged not only $60 for the game, but $15 every three months.

While we are at it, why don't we take those games, and of those ones, how many are cheater infested.

Narrow it down some more, of the above requirements, name any that don't have dedicated servers.

Ah.. Damn. We're already stuck with MW2 being the only one on this list.

You want to name a game that's on the list still that's still worth paying extra money for? Because that took Modern Warfare 2 off my list.

Oh yea. Black Ops is suppose to be out near the end of this year also. That should be great news for all you that are investing $90 into this game, which is fueled by the profit of delayed banning. I will stick to the games that are actually worth buying: CoD4, and BFBC2.

Games haven't been really resilient to inflation. Just before the next gen consoles, games cost $50, when they were released, the first games you could buy were $60. I could logically pay $70 for a game, but why do that when BFBC2, has better graphics, better game play, dedicated servers, very few cheaters (And admins to ban those that exist), AND only cost $50 (Was released after MW2, so that shoots the competitive market idea.)

Activision has just hit the wall with this game.

Thats why having dedicated servers and mod support is so awesome on a pc. you can make all your maps and post them online for everyone to play for free. I hate the console setup, you have to pay for everything from maps to extra costumes for your game characters. Bullcrap, guys you gotta stop paying this kinda money for something they should be giving to us for free. STOP buying them and maybe they will see how evil and greedy they are and give it to us for free. The least they can do when we already spent $80 on one of their games. God it doesnt cost them anything to get some bored designers together and make a map in a day and charge $15 for them. Fricking Stupid.

Activision execs must have gone into rage virus apeshit mode after the IW disaster. Infitiy Ward, Treyarch, Sledgehammer Games, Raven Software all now working on some part of Call of Duty series. Ultra fail.

A definite no buy, just like the first map pack.

when you open the game they put them as the first item in the menu

so you get something like :

-Get milked DLC
-Play game
-Options

Seriously....Why charge these maps at this ridiculously high price?? They are MAP PACKS ffs..Geez..

It's not about enjoying the game or getting what these maps worth, but these maps could be like 15 minutes - 1 hour worth of work, plus the 'imported' maps from MW1. Independent mod/map makers could make better maps with tools (if its given) and I am absolutely sure they are worth playing and better designed than these maps, plus they are free.

If you want to talk about money, there are OMGWTFTONS of other games (multiplayer, singleplayer, mixed, etc) that are CHEAPER than $15 and you can get your time and money well spent with these kind of games....

$10 I'm ... ok with honestly .... I bought the dlc's for Borderlands and the GoW stuff....

but $15 for 5 maps? How about --- no.

Problem is ... while we are smart and will not be buying, there's a ton of lemmings out there =(

Raven is one of my favorite developers. Its involvement in Black Ops means I'll have to take a look at that game.

When Bowling says they're going to have all the maps on all the playlists does that mean, in Halo style, I won't be able to play unless I have all the maps?
