Morning Discussion
$7.49 on Steam. I still wish there were per-song leaderboards.

Been looking at the games coming out over the next month and GOD DAMN i'm going to have some tough decisions!
Skate3 and RedDead are definitely being purchased on launch day.
The next tier would be Alan Wake and Split\Second, dependant on opinions and reviews.
And then Prince of Persia and Lost Planet 2 if reviews are good and i can afford them!
May is gonna be sweeeet!!-

I'm so jaded, I think it's going to save me money.
I got a feeling I won't be buying any games until I return from London in about 15 weeks from now and I am yet to finish Uncharted 2 :/ - I also only really want Heavy Rain, GoW3, Bayonetta, Dante's inferno and the GTA 4 episodes (all for PS3) and of course SC2 - the rest of the year doesn't have anything for me.
I supose I should get ME2 eventually too.-

not sure about that. i have a sim card with O2 and the deal is aslong as i top up £15/month, i can get unlimited texts and unlimited internet. If i only top up £10/month i just get the unlimited texts. I also get to use the credit i top up with for phone calls or whatever.
i can't verify the £3/week deal tho.-

i dont think these sim cards can be bought. i think an existing customer has to ask for them from O2 and they send you like 5 or 6.
and i'm also unclear about whether they offer the deal i'm on to new customers or not. check www.o2.co.uk and see what you can find out about.
if you need me to, i cud send off for some sim cards and give you one. or i may be able to get one off friends who have them lying around. (as i said, they send you quite a few whwn you ask for one.)-
I have a heap of mates in the UK so I'm hoping one of them hooks me up asap, even if it has to be under their name - I just want a reasonable fee - say I'm there for 5 weeks and it's my sole internet device - if I can keep it under 40 quid for the 5 weeks I'll be happy.
- France, will a SIM work there without hassles?

I was worried cause you might slack out. Northern meet it is - you pricks choose the best city - happy to go to any (if the fucking trains go there!) - Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool - they all look quite large. (according to google maps) Whichever one I'm statistically less likely to be knifed in for my iphone.

i bought SFIV and just couldnt get good at it. some characters have like 3 moves, the only character i could consistently perform super/ultra combos with was akuma and it took me ages to beat the stupid final boss.
releasing the same game, but with more characters that probably could have been released as dlc just makes me hate it even more.
I will stick with tekken. and wait patiently for MvC3

I'm on the fence about Alan Wake and RedDead. The Alan Wake videos all show very boring gameplay. It almost seems like they had the light burning gimmick and felt like they were done. The fact that a Remedy game starts so corny and just swoops you into a tutorial that isn't effective, worries me. I was hoping for a little more of an adventure feel. I wish Alan Wake ended up being a hybrid of what it is and Deadly Premonition. Already have collector's edition paid off. Hope Remedy made something good.
RedDead I'm cautious with because of GTA4. I was one of the many that just couldn't be motivated. The game tried to take itself too seriously. They crafted such a beautiful world, and wanted you to respect that too much. I ended up getting more fun out of Saints Row 2. I'm going to wait for jaded gamers to chime in on this one.
Skate 3 is auto-purchased for me. I don't now if it adds enough to justify the sequel. Yet the hardcore mode added enough nuances to get me excited again. I've spent untold hours in Skate 2 and look forward to seeing the tricks the community pulls off.
