Just Cause 2 Gets Online Statistics
by Brian Leahy, Apr 01, 2010 12:30pm PDTEverybody loves statistics! In the spirit of quantifying video game chaos, Avalanche Studios and Eidos have put up a "Gamestats" section on the Just Cause 2 website.
Want to see who's made the most kills (total of 91 million), the most sabotages (over 29 million), the highest base jump (collectively over 47,000 kilometres, that's more than the distance around the world)? Go one step further by registering and linking your Gamertag, PSN or Steam ID to your account, and you'll be able to track all your stats from the game online and see how you compare to other players on the Just Cause 2 Community Leaderboards.
What are you waiting for? Get linking and share your favorite personal statistic in the comments section.
Just Cause 2, a third-person, open world shooter, was released for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on March 23, 2010.

I read somewhere that they designed the game around adding extra content, so there will likely be more than a few rounds of DLC (I still stand by my hatred of paid DLC, but whatever, this game rocks).
They must have changed from being a games for windows live title to Steamworks at the last minute, because in the box there is even a code for DLC that refers to Live rather than Steam.
