Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker Gets Bundled with PSP
by Brian Leahy, Mar 16, 2010 11:40am PDTSony have announced plans to bundle Hideo Kojima's upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker with a "limited-edition, Spirited Green" PSP-3000, a color not currently available in North America. The PSP-3000 is Sony's latest iteration of the UMD-based portable.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is a full-title in the MGS series, directed by creator Hideo Kojima. The story bridges the gap between Metal Gear Solid 3/Portable Ops and Metal Gear (NES). The Metal Gear Solid 4 team is developing the game for publisher Konami.
The bundle will run you a cool $199.99 and include a copy of the game, two in-game items (exclusive Camouflage uniform with FOX logos and a Stealth Gun), a voucher for a downloadable movie to be determined from PSN, and a 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo. A demo of the game is currently available on the PlayStation Network.
Both the game and bundle will be released on June 8, 2010 in North America.
