Plants vs. Zombies iPhone Delayed
by Alice O'Connor, Jan 26, 2010 6:00am PSTDisaster has struck as Plants vs. Zombies developer PopCap announced via Twitter that the iPhone and iPod Touch port of its shiny happy lawn defence has been delayed.
The iPhone version of Plants vs. Zombies was most recently dated for "late January," having originally been planned for "around the end of [2009]." PopCap now says "we are confident it will launch in mid [February]," emphasising to stress it really might happen.
PopCap also broke its silence on the subject of the Xbox Live Arcade port of PvZ, though only to cheekily reply that it's to be expected some time this year.
For now, you can drown your woes in the PC demo and its irritatingly catchy pop song--available from FileShack in both English and Japanese flavours.
