by Shack Staff, Dec 17, 2009 5:00pm PSTIn what may very well be the first Evening Reading of its kind, tonight's chatty stemmed out of a collaboration between two authors. Can you figure out who did what?

tl;dr - They needed 1000 preorders to be able to run off a batch of UMDs (without losing a bunch of money). At the beginning of November, they said that they weren't even half way there and when it came time to cut off preorders in the middle of the month, they hadn't yet reached their goal and the plan was canceled.
So the email might be a mistake, but fuck would that be great if they did run these suckers off anyway :D
